I know critics like to complain about films which seem to exist only to set up a potential franchise, but this felt to me like the exact opposite. As the characters concluded this adventure, I felt like I was shutting the book on their stories. What could the Fantastic Beasts sequels possibly be about? Who might they focus on? Originally envisioned as a trilogy of films , it was recently revealed that JK Rowling and Warner Bros now plan to make five Fantastic Beasts movies.
